Savasana at days end

Here is some Sukha Yoga goodness for you!
Lay yourself down on the floor at the end of the day. Notice the dance between effort and surrender. Bring your focus to your breath and the heaviness of the bones. Keep asking your body to release the next layer of tension until there is calm prevailing over everything. Remember it is necessary to guide yourself mindfully into relaxation. If the mind is not taking part then it will likely drift off into an endless stream of internal Chitchat.
If on any given day there is a resistance to this process get up on your yoga mat and do 10 minutes of slow, steady, gentle, and fluid movements that support your body. Now lie back down and take Savasana more often and not just at the end of a yoga class.. It is the ultimate reliquishing of the body.
